2. Scope of Services

3. Client Obligations

The Client warrants legal ownership or authority to ship the Goods, accuracy of descriptions,

cultural property restrictions. The Client is responsible for customs documentation, licences,

duties, taxes, and destination charges.

4. Packing & Crating

The Company provides professional museum-grade packing appropriate to the information

5. Liability

Liability for loss or damage arising from negligence is limited to the lower of the declared value

accepted in writing or £25,000 per shipment and shall not exceed any amount recoverable

under insurance. No liability is accepted for third-party carriers, delays, inherent fragility,

pre-existing condition, or indirect or consequential loss.

6. Delivery

All overseas deliveries are kerbside delivery only unless inside delivery is requested in advance

and agreed in writing, subject to an additional charge. Delivery dates are estimates only.

7. Customs & Border Delays

The Company is not responsible for customs inspections, seizures, incorrect documentation, or

import restrictions. Any resulting storage, demurrage, or re-delivery charges are payable by the

Client.

8. Claims

Loss or damage must be noted immediately upon delivery and reported in writing within 48

hours. Packaging must be retained for inspection.

9. Payment

All invoices are payable prior to shipment unless otherwise agreed. The Company reserves the

right to retain Goods until payment is received.

10. Cancellation

Cancellations after work has commenced will be charged on a time and materials basis.

Bespoke cases and materials are non-refundable once work has begun.

11. Force Majeure
